Salary: Base salary + super + bonus
The Company
Our client is a recognised Global FMCG in the consumer goods & retail space. They have an expanding presence in Australia due to an outstanding product range, and highly developed sales & marketing strategy. Due to planned growth and team restructure, they are looking for a motivated, technically strong, commercially astute and analytical Finance Business Partner to join their team.
The Role
Reporting to the local Head of Finance as well as partnering with the global and local finance team, you’ll play a critical role in the delivery of consolidated reporting for the group, monthly management reporting – including analysis and commentary. In detail, you will:
- Business partnering across operations, supply chain, and sales
- Drive the budget and forecast preparation
- Providing monthly expenses details for all Departments
- Management & KPI reporting including variance analysis & commentary
- Pricing & Inventory
- Maintain & manage cost monitoring and control processes
- Aligning internal controls & reporting with global team
- Assist with continuous improvement of systems, processes and controls
- Assist Finance Team with the Month-End process and closing
- Mentor Finance team members
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role gained in a large global company. The culture is fast-paced & energetic so will be a need to be able to cope with a busy environment. You need to be self-motivated with be ability to work autonomously. Your attributes will be:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- High level of commercial acumen
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
- Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage
- Developed analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools
- Strong ERP & Advanced MS Excel skills
