The Company – Our client is a market leading manufacturer based near Orange – Central NSW. They have built an impressive business over the last 40 years. They are number one in their sector due to high quality products & standards, innovative technology, customer service and operational set-up. Due to an internal restructure they are looking for a ‘hands on’ Management Accountant to join the business. The position will provide a great opportunity for someone to develop and grow long term with the business. Due to its location in Central NSW it would suit someone looking for a “tree-change” and a move out of Sydney.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be part of a high performing team & responsible for:
- Management & KPI reporting packs including variance analysis & commentary
- Maintain & manage cost monitoring and control processes
- Weekly stocktake and inventory reporting & analysis
- Assist with budget and forecast preparation
- Prepare recurring journals including cost allocation & personnel costs
- Fixed assets & CAPEX
- Assist with continuous improvement of systems, processes and controls
- Other related tasks as and when required
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications with experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment. Strong Excel are also a plus. You will have an outstanding ability to communicate and partner with a number of different business units. The culture is fast paced & energetic so will be need to be able to cope with a busy environment. You need to be self-motivated with be ability to work autonomously.
